Mohammad Shami had an amazing year, managing end the year as the leading wicket-taker for India in both ODIs and Tests. From 21 ODI games, he managed to pick up 42 wickets at an average of 22.64 and from 8 Tests he has scalped 33 wickets at an average of 16.66.  




Deepak Chahar became another popular name with his exceptional bowling skills in the T20 format of the game. With mindboggling figures of 6 for 7 in a game, the player has managed to pick 16 wickets from 9 games.  




The year 2019 brought a lot of injuries for the player, but it brought a lot of success too. Although, he didn’t fetch a lot of good results with the figures of just 8 wickets picked at an average of 33.87. But the ODI results were much better as he picked 33 wickets from the 19 games he played.




Bumrah did wonders in the ODI format of the game before he was ruled out in the second latter half of the year due to injuries. But still, he managed to perform well to get featured in the top three ODI bowlers. He has picked 25 wickets at an average of 24.60 from 14 games.
