BCCI planning to conduct IPL 2020 in September/October

IPL 2020 13th edition won’t be held in April and May – the official window for the world's richest cricket league.

the stakeholders are looking at the September-November window later this year to make the IPL 2020 season happen. The organisers are keen on having a go at this plan even if it’s a curtailed season without the foreign players.

Series Name                          Scheduled

IPL                                             -
Asia Cup                                 postponed
SMA Trophy                          postponed
Road Safety Series                 postponed
PSL                                          postponed
England vs Sri Lanka            postponed

The IPL Governing Council also had a lengthy discussion on whether the franchises should be allowed to play friendlies with Associate ICC members in the month of July-August.

Even if the BCCI finds a 37-day window for a full IPL or a smaller window for a truncated tournament, they will still have to identify venues that won’t be affected by monsoon at that time.

We are waiting to create a team on IPL Fantasy League.
